In this powerful message, FCF Canada President Pastor Bill Annis looks back on over 50 years of ministry to share the foundational, prophetic encounters that shaped his life and birthed the trajectory of our fellowship.
From the Highway to the Coast: Three Divine Encounters
Pastor Bill takes us on a journey through three distinct moments where the Holy Spirit spoke clearly concerning the spiritual destiny of Canada:
The Scroll (1972): As a young pastor driving down a New Brunswick highway, the presence of God forced him to pull over. In a powerful vision, a scroll unrolled revealing a map of Canada with watchmen stationed from the Arctic to the Great Lakes, and the Atlantic to the Pacific. God promised: "I will visit it with revival in your lifetime."
The Command on the Marsh: Fifteen years later, a second divine encounter provided strategic instructions for the ministry: "Move from the east to the west across this land... With my word in your mouth, my sword in your hand."
The Sunrise over English Bay: Looking out over Vancouver, British Columbia, Pastor Bill received a beautiful, final reassurance. Just as the natural sun rises over Cape Spear, Newfoundland, and wakes up every city, town, and hamlet over a four-and-a-half-hour trek to the Pacific, so shall the Holy Spirit sweep across Canada.
